• The keyboard disables as soon as you push it past the laptop range. So even if it's in display-mode, they keyboard disables. There's a volume button on the side so you can adjust volume without needing the keyboard as well.

• The keyboard should no longer be active. If it is still active then something is not working properly. The keyboard being exposed does bother me a little. I wish there was some sort of cover or something I could get.

• No, when you have the computer either in tent or tablet mode, the keyboard automatically shuts off. So you don't have to worry about bumping the keys.
