the other person that answered this is wrong- there is no ethernet port on it, but you can purchase an inexpensive USB to RJ45 adapter. Seriously, I don't understand why people who don't know what they're talking about answer things on here when they are clueless. As for the iPhone- yes, it'll work fine- just make sure you unlocked the iphone screen before connecting.
