“8GB of Ram Upgradable? SSD compatible? Is it possible to upgrade the system memory meaning does it only have 1 slot or does it have 2 to be able to utilize 16GB. Also is it possible to install a SSD in this? My current envy I installed one on and it works wonders, don't really want to go back to slow HDD response times. This is the only thing stopping me from picking this one up, I mean it has screws so I would say it probably can be done but would no longer be under hp warranty?”

• This laptop is likely to have two slots, 4gb in each for a total of 8gb. You can install two 8gb for a total of 16gb. Yes, you can install an SSD, 2.5mm just as you can in most laptops.
