Thank you for the question. Yes, the Envy 15m-ew0023dx is a newer model (introduced May 2022) and there are a few differences between it and the 15m-es0023dx. The EW has a 12th generation i7 processor (10 cores, 12 threads), and the ES has an 11th generation i7 processor (4 cores, 8 threads). The EW has a 400 nit 100% sRGB display (vs. 250 nits and 45% NTSC on the ES). The EW has a 5mp IR camera, wifi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth 5.2 plus one more Thunderbolt 4 USB-c port than the ES.
