- Answer While Lightroom will run on it, the laptop will be bogged down and you might not be able to multi task very well. Look for something more powerful with more RAM

- Answer Yes, certain products and will allow you to write with a stylus or your finger but most of the software such as Microsoft word will require you to use the on screen keyboard or the keyboard attached to the laptop.
