I have bought many refurbished products and they typically look brand new. However, they can have a few scuffs, scratches, and/or marks but these would be typically minor and wouldn't impact the performance such as major damage to screen. But in most cases put a brand new item and refurb item next to each other and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although the computer has a solid while cover and it seems to get easily damaged or get dirty, mine did not have any scratches or any marks. I don't know if this applies to all cases, but at least mine looked fairly new.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My computer looks perfect! I was actually wondering the same thing when I bought it and was surprised that it looked brand new when I finally got it in the mail. I assume the company refurbishes the computer completely and replaces the parts that look worn or damaged.
