“How do we install this with Mac OSX 7.0 or higher? The cd-rom in the box with Windows installation is only good for Mac OSX up to 6.0. A link is provided, with the instructions telling you not to use the cd for OSX 7.0 or higher, which is dead on the HP website. Further searches on the website yield nothing useful.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did not use the CD that came in the package. First I connected the printer to my wireless router with an ethernet cable. Next, using an iMac running Mac OS 10.9 (Mavericks), I went to System Preferences (under the Apple icon in the upper left corner). From System Preferences, I opened Printers & Scanners then Added a printer by clicking on the + symbol. My Mac saw the printer right away. The printer's picture and its name appeared in the list of printers. I clicked on the name that was it.
