• Well, you probably already made your decision. I have used all brands, but I find my quality of experience is more consistent with HP. I no longer consider Brother models so I can't compare specifics. It's the replaceable (made by canon) engine, aka cartridge that makes the HPs so reliable. There are also some differences in the printer software, and I find HPs have the highest quality. I think that brother may be a bit cheaper because of this historic difference, so if you got the brother and it's working, you probably saved a little cash!
