• No, the drivers are also available online. It is best to use the online drivers because they are the most recent versions available (directly from HP, of course, not from a third party site.)

• Without knowing what device and operating system you are trying to print from it is difficult to give you an answer on if this printer will work. I would need to know the computer/device you are printing from. HP offers drivers on HP.com, so if this printer is compatible with your computer you may be able to download them from there instead of doing from a disc.
