The original starter toner cartridges lasted approx. 1/2 (almost) of what the regular replacement would be. Be sure to run the cartridge completely out. When the low level warning message comes on keep using it. I must have printed 100 extra pages until it really was empty. Cyan was the first to go for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Believe me, it is a terrible ink guzzler . . . I've owned HP's and Cannon's. This was my first Epson. I still cannot believe how much ink it uses and neither will you. I think I might have printed between 50 and 75 basic pages from the original cartridge. To my surprise, when I got a refill I went for the large size and it didn't print many more. Frankly, what was worse was that after a year the printing becomes extremely fuzzy. Unfortunately I bought one for my father, now he teases me all the time about how it's clogged up, fuzzy, or out of ink. His, he can't even get it to print black anymore even after a new cartridge. Worst printer ever. If you still want one, I'll sell you mine for a dollar.
