QuestionIf the color carts go out will I be able to print black and white or will it stop me from printing? All my inkjets soonas a color cart went out the whole printer don't work.

- Answer If you have something to print in black and white do the following check at each print: 1. That plain paperis selected 2. That black and white is selected !!! Only then the color inks are not used !!! If you do not do this, you will be surprised that your colors are out, because the printer mixes colors to make black...it is weird, but it happened to many !!

- Answer My printer came set on the 'normal' setting for print quality. Change the print quality setting to 'best' and you should see quite a bit of difference

- Answer Yes it will print your photo images very well, just as good as if you went to a photo place and had them done, just use the correct photo paper and settings. You will be very happy!

- Answer This printer comes with Introductory HP LaserJet Color cartridges (~700 color composite (C/Y/M) page yield and ~800 page yield black). Here is information on the regular toners: HP 204A Black LaserJet Toner Cartridge (~1100 page yield) HP 204A Cyan LaserJet Toner Cartridge (~900 page yield) ;HP 204A Yellow LaserJet Toner Cartridge (~900 page yield) ; and HP 204A Magenta LaserJet Toner Cartridge (~900 page yield).

- Answer It only uses toner cartridges. Best Buy currently lists the black cartridge at $51 and the three color cartridges at $57 each.

- Answer No. The current paper tray that comes with the printer is only for 8 1/2 x 11 paper and there is no way to manually feed that large of paper.

- Answer There should be an Ethernet entry on the back, sometimes it looks as a bigger phone connecter, and some other times it looks like a circle with a section missing (about a quarter). It can be hard wired!

- Answer For our LaserJet models you will want to look for one that has "d" (Duplexing) in the model number. This one only has N (Networking) and W (Wireless).

QuestionCan the printer print and handle 11X17 paper?

- Answer only 2 things will tell you that, is where the paper feeder/where you put the paper into shows 11 x 17 and if it does not then NO. The other is some printers have 2 paper handlers to store paper, I would check that one as well, but it must have a document feeder at the top, unless the glass is a 11 x 17 size, Iwould check those out.
