Yes it is a copier as well as a scanner. I use it a lot for copying and it works great.

Yes, it's a pretty good copier too. You can choose color or black & white copies, multiple copies and I believe you can even make the copies lighter or darker.

The answer is yes. I have owned alot of different printers but this hp printer/copier has exceeded my expectations.
