- Answer That is typically something you adjust in whatever software you're using to print. When you tell the computer to print something, it will bring up a dialogue box and you can adjust it from there.

- Answer Yes, you can print on card stock, up to 112lb. It will print from 3x5 to 8.5x14 just make sure both the printer and your print program know the size to be printed.

- Answer The original starter toner cartridges lasted approx. 1/2 (almost) of what the regular replacement would be. Be sure to run the cartridge completely out. When the low level warning message comes on keep using it. I must have printed 100 extra pages until it really was empty. Cyan was the first to go for me.

- Answer Yes, it has a USB port, and if you print something in black, it will only print black, or you can tell the driver to print in grayscale only, which will print shades instead of color. You can then use color whenever you need to. Most printers now days are quite energy efficient, depending on your print demands - keep in mind how a laser printer works and you can base it from there....
