You can use the flatbed scanner or feed your documents thru the reader. The enclosed software provides a user friendly link on your computer to produce and save documents in several formats. From this point you can send it to your email provider. I am very happy with this unit.

So I bought this printer. It’s great. Yes you can scan and e mail. You can also scan and save to mobile device. Just download app.
