“When do I change ink cartridges I just received my first shipment of HP Instant Ink, but the ones in the printer are still half full. Do I have to install new cartridges when they arrive, or wait til the others are empty? Can I change just the empty one, or do I have to change all at the same time?”

You don't have to replace your ink until they're empty. You also don't have to replace them all at the same time. Just keep them handy until you start seeing messages that you're running out of ink. You should also consider getting the shipment of HP Instant Ink less frequent. Sounds like you getting them more often than you're using the ink.
