Thank you for asking. The 8135 has single-sided scanning from the document feeder, and the 9125 will scan 2-sided, dual-pass. Both printers have a 35-page document feeder. The 8135 prints at up to 29 pages per minute, black, and up to 25 pages per minute, color. The 9125 prints up to 32 pages per minute, black or color. The 8135 has a 225-sheet paper tray, and the 9125 has a 250-sheet paper tray. The 9125 has a USB host port for saving scans to a flash drive and the 8135 does not. The 8135 has a recommended page volume of 800 monthly, and the 9125 has a recommended monthly page volume of 1500. Both printers will print two-sided automatically.
