This HP Printer supports printing with the remaining inks when one or more of the cartridges have been depleted. Unfortunately, all of the inks are required in order to print in a true black. When one or more of the color cartridges have been depleted your monochrome prints will be in grayscale instead of a true black. This feature can be utilized until all of the catridges have been depleted and will require the replacement of one or more cartridges in order to continue printing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Set your printer defaults in Windows to print in B & W. Then leave non-empty color carts installed. I don't think it will print if it thinks color is empty.
