Question 1: NO, the tray extends about 6-8 inches for copies. Question 2: NO, The copier is all in one, there is a function for two sided printing.

The dimensions of the HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e are as follows W x d x h: 17.3 x 13.48 x 10.94 in (Minimum Storage Mode), Maximum: 17.3 x 20.46 x 10.94 in. The Maximum dimensions include the paper output tray. A duplexer, needed to print 2-sided pages, is built into the OfficeJet Pro 9125e printer. No other components are necessary.
