“Do the print heads align automatically? When my old Officejet 4680 indicates it needs alignment, I can cancel it to save ink. I know that newer printers automatically align, and can lock up the printer for 5 minutes. Does this printer do that, or can you cancel print alignment? Thanks!”

• Yes it does do auto-alignment. However, it only takes a couple minutes and prints a single page that you then put on the scanner for the device to read and align itself from.
