QuestionPer the HP website this model with the GTX 1060 6gb only comes with a 144hz or a 4K 60hz. If this laptop does not have the 4k then how is it not the 144hz screen? Is the software locked at 60 hz?

- Answer This model is designed for Best Buy. It is not the same as a custom configuration from HP. Here are the specs for this model: https://support.hp.com/vn-en/document/c06084808 Looking at the build sheet it lists the screen as being: 24374-001 LCD PANEL 15.6' 1080 60Hz

Questioni would love if u could clarify something for me, in one of the questions below you said this model has a 60Hz display refresh rate, but if i go into the product demo page it says it has 144Hz, one expert told me it has 144Hz too, so which one is it? :)

- Answer This model absolutely has a 60hz display. The parts build sheet lists the panel as "LCD RAW PANEL 15.6'INCH FHD 60Hz"

- Answer The 15-dc0030nr seems to have a 4 zone RGB keyboard. They are very similar otherwise.

- Answer It has a 60hz display. A higher hz can be achieved with an external monitor but higher hz equals more work for the gpu and thus heat.

- Answer Battery life disconnected is not too bad but gaming would really cut the life down a lot, only a couple of hours. It should last quite some time, around 8 hours if just doing something small like word processing and web browsing.

- Answer Through the display it is 60hz. You could get more through the HDMI port. The temps will vary based on the games you are playing.

- Answer The screen brightness is going to be similar between the two, but the Omen has better graphics (dedicated GTX 1060) and a Full HD 1080p display (1920 x 1080). The other laptop can come with 720p (1366 x 768) or 1080p (1920 x 1080) SVA1, depending on the variant, and the graphics are integrated (AMD Radeon R2, R4 or R5 Graphics).
