- Answer What is your graphics card and display settings on your laptop? I used it with my gaming laptop before my desktop arrived and it worked great! I just connected it with my HDMI cable and it worked great.

- Answer you can only get 144hz instead of the native 165hz if using hdmi.

- Answer My question was for the Xbox one X. I purchased this monitor and it will only allow 1080 p at 120 hz. When I bump it up to 1440p it drops to 60 hz

QuestionHP customer service lacks the knowledge of the products they support. The monitor does not include a mount within the box. I see HP team is responding with a useless link that does not point to a manual. No VESA mount Support!!

- Answer Yes, their info is poor. However, it is not a problem to VESA mount, you just have to pull open the panel in the back and unscrew the included mount. Your VESA mount also has to be able to rotate to match the position on the back of the monitor. Personally, I think the diamond shape was a dumb idea.

QuestionWill this monitor run 1440P at 120Hz with an xbox series x? My current monitor runs 165Hz, but I cannot get the 120FPS - only 60Hz at 1440P resolution after going through settings on both console and monitor.

- Answer I use this monitor for PC gaming. Does the Xbox have a display port? I know If you only use an HDMI port you may not get the higher refresh rates that your looking for, I may be wrong though. I use a display port that came with the monitor and connected that to my PC. When I connected it via HDMI port it locked at 60 hz. I might have to mess with it more but that is my experience so far. Hope this helps

- Answer The PS5 will only run 1080p 120hz on this monitor. It does not have native 1440p 120hz support unfortunatley

- Answer The monitor has an HDMI 2.0 input, and according to the Mac Mini specs, it has an HDMI 2.0 output, so you'll be able to connect them directly.

QuestionDoes this monitor come with the VESA mount adapter? I just purchased this over the Memorial Day weekend when it was on sale. I set it up quickly to make sure it worked then went to mount it. Instructions seem to indicate it comes with an adapter.

- Answer This model doesn't come with the adapter. Also, the stand is a solid single post rather than two posts like the picture. It allows a VESA mount in a diamond pattern. You're good if your mount can rotate.

QuestionHow do you get the stand bracket off of the back of the monitor so that you can get to the VESA mount?

- Answer You need a small flathead or similar and carefully pop off the plastic cover on the back. There is a small tab for you to slip a flat edge into for this purpose. Behind the panel there is a standard VESA threaded plate you have to remove. Your VESA mount must be able to rotate 45 degrees, assuming you have the newer OMEN with the diamond shaped back.

- Answer Unfortuantely, the data sheet doesn't break out the weight of the monitor separately from the stand. The total weight is 17 pounds, so if the stand can hold that, you'll be fine.

QuestionFor PS5 do these monitor accept a 4k signal (downsampled to 1440p)? I know some 1440p monitors do accept a 4k signal but want to make sure this one does too. Otherwise, PS5 is a no-go as it will be stuck at 1080p.
