“This may be a stupid question, but if I were to connect it to triple monitors, would each monitor connected to the PC via DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort do anything different because of the way they are connection to the PC via the cables? Thanks!”

After you connect the monitors to the different video ports, we recommend going into the display settings to choose which monitor will be your number 1, number 2, and number 3 monitor. I recommend looking at the "Rearrange your displays" section on this webpage for directions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4561931/how-to-use-multiple-monitors-in-windows-10 Also, look at "Choose a display option" section, this allows you to choose to mirror or extend your displays (have different displays on all 3 monitors).
