“Wanted to expand the RAM. I see it comes with 16GB (2 x 8gb). Can you put any brand as long as it's DDR4 3200mhz? Also, can you put any size in the 2 empty slots or do they have to match the 2 8gb that are in the first 2 slots? Can I put 2 16gb? TIA”

Yes you can put any brand as long as it is ddr 3200and the same pin configuration. However you will want to either add 2 x 8gb. Total of 33gb. Or Discard the originals and add 2 new of any matching size . Or 4 new of any matching size..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You would want to stick with the 8GB of DDR4 - 3200MHz unless you were replacing all of the RAM in the unit. To help reduce possible latency issues. You can replace all of the RAM with up to 16GB of DDR4 - 3200MHz. Best Buy does sell the HyperX Kingston Fury which is what is in the unit already and HP's brand.
