Sue, thank you for your questions on this HP OmniBook! Video production is dependent on the hardware and this laptop has the hardware to do it along with transcoding with in a reasonable time. The number of web pages before crashing depends on the browser, and the pages. HP computers are also equipped with HP software that monitors your system and notifies you of any driver updates and even manage them for you. This is not equipped with a card reader, but you can purchase one in Best Buy stores and attach it to one of the USB ports.
