“Does this have an IPS screen? The question has been asked twice here with HP contradicting it's self on both answers, saying once that it is IPS and another time that it is not. Can HP please provide a definitive answer? Thank you.”

I'm sorry that there's been some confusion and a wrong answer given. We really try and avoid that. Looking at the official HP specs, it does not show it as an IPS display, so it is not.
