“I have an old 8GB stick of RAM but it's 2666 speed. From what I've read, this laptop seems to require 3200 speed which sounds odd to me because I've never heard of a minimum RAM speed requirement. Can I use my 2666 RAM in this laptop?”

• The slower RAM speed will work. But the other ram stick will operate at the same speeds as the slower memory.
