Q: QuestionWhat does Best Buy charge to up grade to 12gb of Ram??Is it up-gradeable in the first place, and what does it cost to do this ??( say to 12 gb of Ram )

• A:Answer Best Buy charges for the upgrade because is comes standard with 6gb. In order to get 12gb you have to have additional RAM, which costs money. It will probably be between 40 and 80 depending on where you can find the RAM at the best deal.

Q: QuestionInstalled memory 6GB??Hello, Just a little confused. Laptop spec on Best Buy website state 6GB? How is that possible? Memory is installed in modules of 4GB,8GB,16GB,etc..is the 6GB on-board memory or shared with video? Do the memory slots have any modules installed or are they both free/empty? Thank you for the help...would like to order some sticks when ordering the laptop...just want to make sure of the configuration before hand.

Q: QuestionCan you make videos from your photos with this laptop?I like to make an annual video of my family photos and have a moviemaker program on my (now deceased) all in one pc. I was hoping to get a laptop instead of a desktop this time and would like to be able to continue making the videos.

Q: QuestionNUM LockIs there a way I can see if NUM Lock is engaged? CAPS Lock has a light that’s on where it is engaged, but I don’t see that for NUM Lock. It’s irritating when I am trying to put in a password that has numbers and I get shut out of the website because I’ve entered the password too many times incorrectly because I can’t tell if NUM Lock is on or off.

• A:Answer Donna, Unfortunately, these laptops lack acknowledging when the number key is is engaged or not. I was thinking the same thing until I looked closely and read my online manual. I guess, we will have to pay close attention when using the number keys to ensure that it is engaged. I hope this was helpful.
