The memory on this HP PC is upgradeable to 8GB of DDR3 PC3-12800 memory module.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to a Crucial Memory Scan, this laptop maxes out a 16GB of RAM, which is a little over $100 total from Crucial; they also Guarantee compatibility. I'm not sure how much Best Buy charges for the actual sticks, but Geek Squad charges around $40 to install it, if you're not going to do it yourself. I'll be doing this myself soon =)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's hard to say at this point, I have seen up to 8 gb on one site and Crucial gives options to buy 4, 8 and 16 gb ram. One techie told me that I could do 8 to 16 gb, but kind of hard to take the risk with it working so well at 6gb right now. Please post a reply if you find out any different. TY!
