• Yes. I'm using it with a Mac Mini via a mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable.

• I cannot imagine any problem with that. We have some MAC minis at work running off some non MAC monitors. The last time I looked, there was an HDMI connection on the back, so that should make things pretty much "plug and play".

• I have MacMini I bought new in late 2015. I think the version is late 2014 but it works just fine right out of the box.
