“Specs say this is 5.1 surround capable. What does this mean. Would I need to add a 5.1 sound card? Already 5.1 audio outputs? Another PC I viewed says Cache of 4 MB, This one says 8MB. What does that affect? I need a PC for Audio recording/mixing.”

Dude. That's what I USE IT FOR. I run Acid pro studio 10 and audacity at the same time with no problem, and Ableton LIVE.. I don't use surround , just the stereo audio out port. There is a slot available for a PCI card if you want to install one. I have a midi controller that I hook up too. It handles it all just fine. few problems.
