Dude. That's what I USE IT FOR. I run Acid pro studio 10 and audacity at the same time with no problem, and Ableton LIVE.. I don't use surround , just the stereo audio out port. There is a slot available for a PCI card if you want to install one. I have a midi controller that I hook up too. It handles it all just fine. few problems.
