A:Answer If you're looking at the HP Pavilion, you are already far and above your requirements. I am getting uploads of 5.5 MB and downloads of 88 MB with the cheapest connection I can get from Comcast (but I'm hard-wired, no wifi, which does slow you down). I am using it to run my business, which is out of my home, and it has everything I need (except for office software, which you will need to provide, or activate and subscribe to if you like the bundled Microsoft Office). You will need to check with your employer about hooking into their computer in terms of security, and find out if there is any additional security you need to purchase for your computer at home.
