You can get a USB transfer cable and do it. However, the far easier way to do it would be to have the Geek Squad perform the work for you. That way, you'll know that you got everything transferred over.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have two options that I am aware of: 1. Transfer the files on your old computer to a USB thumb drive. Then plug the drive into your new computer and transfer them to whatever location you want on your C Drive. 2. Upload your files to an online storage site, and then download them to your new computer. I use idrive to back up my documents to the cloud, so that I have access to them on any computer I am using.
