Only the 30 day trial version of word was on ours

None of the Office Suite --which includes Word -- was included in the purchase. After the set-up by Best Buy, I noticed the icons for the most of the Office Suite on the monitor. None of the Icons were active and that made some sense. The cost of the Office Suite with Word would or could be almost as much as the computer. Any software that was included was free software from various sources on the iternet. Because of the MS licensing requirements, I doubt that Best Buy could have included the Suite at no cost. That's not to say that a candid conversation by the Best Buy sales person would have been welcome -- even now. NOW, let's try my problem with the same computer. The door to the DVD drive doesn't open. CAN'T GET IT TO OPEN! The device manager shows that there is a DVD player within the computer hardware. The verticle door is right there on the upper left front, but it doesn't open. What is your experience in this regard?? Thanks
