QuestionThe second RAM slot (actually the RAM slots in general) appears to be very well hidden behind other components. How does one get to it to add another RAM stick without having to take the entire PC apart?

- Answer I had to remove the optical drive and flip the drive cage out of the way (there are a couple of screws to remove). There are procedures and diagrams on HP's website under the support documentation. Was not difficult but the RAM.slots are a VERY tight fit, use care and anti-static (ESD) protection. Hope that helps.

- Answer Yes, you can upgrade the graphics card. Be sure to upgrade the power supply if necessary. This desktop has a 400 watt power supply.

QuestionPc gets too hot while gaming (its cool & quiet on normal use but if im gaming it gets hot & fans are mid/high loud) can i add an additional fan to help out? And could the back fan be the issue or poor ventilation due to the case size+design?

- Answer Hello danielfox! Based on my experience, I do not think that you can upgrade the CPU based on the size and compatibility issues of this portable computer. If I were you, I would save the money to build a PC rather than upgrading this portable PC and reason for that is because I have tried to upgrade this PC myself, but there are many specifications that you would have to follow in order to have no compatibility issues. For example, this PC only supports single-fanned graphics cards. It is almost unable to upgrade. Even if it were possible, you would be granted with very little performance increase. Good luck!

- Answer Hello John! Based on my experience with this computer, I recommend not buying it due to the limits of this computer. If you were to put the resolution to 1920X1080, it would say 144 FPS, but it feels like 30 FPS. Now, if you put the resolution to 1280X720, it would feel like 144 FPS, but the disadvantage would be that you would have to play ALL LOW settings and bad graphics in order to achieve a maximum of 144 FPS. From my experience, it looks like a pixelated game when you play Fortnite on 1280X1720. I recommend that you build a PC rather than buy a pre-built. I learned this the hard way. Good luck!

You can use double monitors on this PC, but keep in mind that the CPU is quite weak and if you are thinking about streaming, it would take much more than this PC to have decent FPS and stream at the same time with only one computer. You can try, but as I said, FPS will definitely be lower and streaming quality would also be lower as well. Good luck!

- Answer There is only 1 PCI-Ex16 slot open to expand with. There are no open hard drive bays on this desktop. There is 1 x 3.5" and 1 x 2.5" hard drives occupied.

QuestionI picked up a refurbished HP 690-067c from Wal Mart. The only issue i have with it is that when you bring the computer out of sleep mode, the front bezel case light does not come back on. the computer actually awakes with no problem Any Ideas?

- Answer Upgrading the CPU will depend on the motherboard. In this case, you can upgrade it up to Ryzen 7-2700. You can also upgrade the graphics card. Just be sure to have the right power supply. This desktop comes with 400 watt power supply.
