Yes it has the power to run Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services.

This is an 11.6, so keep that in mind. As far as Netflix and Hulu ect. This laptop is fast! I personally have not watched those services on it yet but I dont see it being an issues. It be perfect to put right on your lap in bed, as it is a small laptop. It does have an HDMI port and 2 USB ports. As well as an SD slot. I hope that helps you in the buying process.
