• Yes, you can download MS Word/Excel. Its Windows 8.1, I believe. But if you haven't purchased it yet, I'd look into other options. Just left a review on it from my own experience, and I can truthfully tell you it wasn't a good one.

• You can use Word and Excel. They are not included with the laptop and have to be purchased and directly downloaded separately. It has Windows 8, and it has touch screen, but it also serves as a normal old fashioned Windows PC laptop. You may go to YouTube and look for reviews for HP - Pavilion x360 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop as well, to confirm this with other users.

• No, this laptop can run Windows programs, not included. HP recommends Windows 8.1 64 bit.
