Sorry you are having trouble. I replaced my factory black cartridge and the printer never missed a beat. Contact HP, they have lots of good info on their self help pages.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would try deleting and reinstalling the printer before you return it. You may need to check your wireless network setup. Because of frequent internet disconnection, I wired the printer to my PC and use the wireless network for my mobile devices. I think this is a more stable system. Did you check on the website for updated drivers? Also, I discovered you need to use the newer version of the 564 ink cartridges. I tried installing my old ones to use up the ink and found they would not work. The HP support website provided the information I needed.

Please try again later.try alignment and calibration, and i believe there is a clean print heads option. i am surprised to hear you have this trouble as i printed some PHENOMENAL birthday invites w/this printer on photo paper with very heavy graphics using the starter cartridges.
