“Will the HP Envy work with Windows XP service pack 2 I read the specifications which says Windows XP 3 only but I spoke with HP Technician and she claims it will work on XP2 if I download the Windows XP driver. So has anyone installed this printer successfully on a Windows XP2 pc.?”

• The HP Envy 5530 should work with Windows XP service pack 2.

• It seems to work just fine on an old Dell laptop with XP SP2

• Yes I installed it on XP service pack 2 no problem straight from the cd. Also installed it on Windows Vista and Windows 7 with no problem, it is also compatible with Windows 8 and 8.1
