I used the wifi option on my iPad and it recognized the printer and set it up immediately.

All three it was a simple as having the item you wanted to print, select printer , the device searched fir Aur Printers, fiund our HP air in seconds, gave us the usual selections of copies, B&W verse color, and print both sides of paper. Then just select PRINT . No downloaded software necessary
