• I'm on Wifi and didn't have to use the CD. It automatically picked up the signal. All I had to do was put the password to the Wifi in, just like my Kindle.

• Most newer laptops do not have the CD slot any more. You should be able to download the drivers from HP.com. Under Support, select Download Drivers.

• You can connect as long as you have an Internet connection and can access HP. Simply follow the instructions in the installation steps and access HP to set up your printer connectivity on any device.

• download the drivers and software from HP website
