There could be any number of reasons. the HP Support Team would be your best bet for troubleshooting the problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to recharge when the indicator light on the bottom of the mouse alerts you that it has to be recharged. Use the cable included to plug into your computer. You can charge as you are working. There is a warranty on the product so if its still in warranty you can contact HP.com if the charging is not working.
