I understand the LTE probably won't work with another carrier, but that's not an issue. I just use Wifi on a tablet and beam that from a phone if I'm not around anything.”

I purchased at Best Buy and did not need to purchase a Verizon contract. I have T Mobile. I removed the Verizon SIM and installed a pay as you go SIM from T Mobile. It recognized my T Mobile SIM, but I have not purchased and data to test out completely. It does pick up the signal and says T Mobile so I do not see a problem with it working.

Please try again later.before you jump in read my followup review under comments. listed under rtkegger I think on this sale you have to get the contract. the first of Feb it was advertised at $599 without a contract, so I would hold off, if you really want to waste your time and money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't activate as I'm not a Verizon customer and the cost exceeds the savings. I would just hot-spot your phone when mobile. There is still an adjacent SD slot for more memory.
