“Is the 4K Screen as bright as the 1080P? I recently visited my local Best Buy. I compared the 13.3 inch Spectre x360. They had a 1080P and 4K screen resolution model side by side The 1080P screen resolution was noticeably brighter. I checked all the settings and made sure the brightness was all the way up for both units. I searched it and found this as similar complaint with this model by other users (See pictures 4K on left for both pictures). Now the 15 inch model is new for this year and my question is how do the 2 screen compare side by side? As the price difference is very small so I was leaning toward 4K.”

I haven't seen the 1080p in store, but I have compared it to the 1080p and 1440p displays on the 13'' models. In terms of brightness they're all about the same, which is comfortably bright, they won't hurt your eyes and they won't detract from your experience.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to put the 2 side by side to test. You can't just assume its brighter because its 4K. 4K only specifies the resolution not the brightness. I am still waiting for reviews by the experts that tell us the NBR lists the specs (nits of brightness) or for Best Buy to carry these in stores so you can do a side by side as I did with the 13 inch model.
