One of the biggest differences: - 2016 15t model uses a PenTile (RG/BW) not-true-4K display. Considered deceptive marketing by many. (Google "Spectre PenTile") - 2017 15t model uses a true 4K display. If you'd rather not spend the extra money for the 2017 model of the Spectre, I would choose the Lenovo Yoga 710 4K, as it uses a true 4K display without the higher cost of the 2017 Spectre. Search "Lenovo 4K" on BestBuy.com because it's not listed as Yoga 710 for some reason. Or copypaste this URL: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenovo-2-in-1-15-6-4k-ultra-hd-touch-screen-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-940mx-256gb-ssd-pearl-black/5579132.p?skuId=5579132 Or if you don't want 4K you could spend a little less and get the 1080p version of the Yoga 710. It uses one of the better types of 1080p displays out there, with 72% NTSC / 100% sRGB colorspace (colors are very good).
