• A:Answer Ok, this is what you really need to know. This computer doesn't have a dedicated graphics card which means if you're gonna be running any CAD softwares like AutoCad or solidworks, it may not run quite as smoothly as it would on a machine with a graphics card. That's the only downside to this computer. So, if you're studying mechanical engineering look elsewhere. Electrical, civil, computer science and whatever else you may be studying should be just fine.

• A:Answer I used a JOI pen with the laptop. It's meh, but it works mostly. Can't really go normal speed. You have to slow down for accuracy.

• A:Answer 4K can be worth it if all your apps scale properly (Adobe CC does not yet!), as it'll make things sharper, and also allow you to turn your scaling settings lower (but not too low!) to get more screen realestate. But this 2016 Spectre x360 15t is not the laptop I would choose if you want 4K. It uses a PenTile (RG/BW) not-true-4K display. This means you risk some apps not scaling properly without even getting the full sharpness of 4K in exchange for it. Google "spectre pentile" to see what I mean by this. The 2017 Spectre x360 15t uses a true 4K display, but is in a higher price bracket. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-spectre-x360-2-in-1-15-6-4k-uhd-touchscreen-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-512gb-solid-state-drive/5712363.p?skuId=5712363 But so does the considerably cheaper Lenovo Yoga 710 4K. • A:Answer One of the biggest differences: - 2016 15t model uses a PenTile (RG/BW) not-true-4K display. Considered deceptive marketing by many. (Google "Spectre PenTile") - 2017 15t model uses a true 4K display. If you'd rather not spend the extra money for the 2017 model of the Spectre, I would choose the Lenovo Yoga 710 4K, as it uses a true 4K display without the higher cost of the 2017 Spectre. Search "Lenovo 4K" on BestBuy.com because it's not listed as Yoga 710 for some reason. Q: QuestionI noticed a problem after windows updated. The trackpad was working fine, but now the installed driver is not recognized. I uninstalled and reinstalled the trackpad driver and it works again, but as soon as a restart the problem comes back.
