The power cord that goes from the wall to the brick is kind of short compared to most. It's about 2.5 feet. The cord from the brick to the laptop is a little over three feet. The brick is not too large, but also not the smallest one I have had from HP. It's about twice the size of an Apple Macbook Pro brick. There isn't any HP-specific bloatware on it, but Windows 10 comes with some stupid games, X-Box crud and other "Trial" ware out of the box, no matter what brand of PC you buy. You have to go through and uninstall what you can. Some of it is not easily un-installed but if you go to the "Programs and Features" applet in Control Panel, you can take it all out. You also have to clean up the Start menu which is full of stupid junk. I also turn off Cortana so she doesn't constantly nag me about her abilities, but Microsoft are making that harder to do with each release. There is HP Support software installed, and of course all the necessary HP drivers, but I wouldn't call that "Bloatware". HP aren't taking a payoff from 3rd-rate software vendors to load the PC with useless software but apparently Microsoft are. That said, I like Windows 10 a ton. It's a huge upgrade over Windows 8, but you do need to spend an hour or so cleaning it up right out of the box. If you buy it from Best Buy though, you get a GeekSquad session for free, where you can get them to do that for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1) The length from the triple prong to the power brick is an annoyingly short 3 feet, but from the brick to the lightning adapter is nice and long, 6 feet. If you can situate the brick somewhere then you'll be just fine. 2) The amount of bloatware is probably no more or less than any other modern PC. There were some games I got rid of myself, and I recommend using a program such as the PC Decrapifier (slightly off name, but straight and to the point) to help wipe the rest. https://www.pcdecrapifier.com/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best way to remove bloatware on a new laptop/PC is to download the free program called "pc-decrapifier". It will scan for all non-essential and non-legitimate programs then let you choose which you want to uninstall in one click.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The charging cord is between 8 and 10 feet long which is enough for most people. In terms of bloatware, it has a good amount but most can be uninstalled if you take the time to do so.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know the exact length but its over 6' long. There certainly is not a lot of preloaded programs outside of what is usually standard for Windows 10.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.GAgolfguy, The charging cord is about 94 inches long, or 7 feet 10 inches. I don't recall exactly how much bloatware there was, since one of the first things I did was delete any apps/programs I had no need for. I'd say a fair amount of bloatware, but nothing crazy. I do remember it already having apps that you'd typically find pre-installed on a phone or tablet, such as Facebook, Twitter, Candy Crush, etc. Hope this helps!
