“Would this computer be a good choice for an engineering student?”

• I think it's good for engineering. If you need to use 3D modeling, 16gb should be enough but otherwise it's a good investment. I'm a college student studying biomedical engineering and I have an 2017 HP spectre 15

• Maybe...however if you are going to be installing any from of 3D CAD software on it you may want to look into something with a beefier processor and graphics card and maybe even 32+ GB RAM. If running more simple software, I think it would work well (from a graduated engineering student).

• Yes, but the same model (with included pen) in 13 inch screen might be preferred due to the lower weight and better portability. Best to compare both in-store.
