I think it's good for engineering. If you need to use 3D modeling, 16gb should be enough but otherwise it's a good investment. I'm a college student studying biomedical engineering and I have an 2017 HP spectre 15

Please try again later.Maybe...however if you are going to be installing any from of 3D CAD software on it you may want to look into something with a beefier processor and graphics card and maybe even 32+ GB RAM. If running more simple software, I think it would work well (from a graduated engineering student).
