• Yes you can. Case opens from bottom and the entire half pops off easily. you can add RAM, special SSD/HD replacement and other options that may not have purchased at the time. Research all options the model can provide from HP website then buy on the cheap when available.

• If you have a torx screwdriver set, you can unscrew the bottom and gain access to the internals.
