No. According to the service manual... (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05357610) it can take two 4GB or two 8GB memory sticks, for a total of 8GB or 16GB; or in a weird combination, one 8GB and one 4GB for a total of 12GB. The service manual also says that the memory is not user configurable, but I don't know why you couldn't upgrade it to 16GB yourself if you bought it with less. If the thought of that scares you, go to Geek Squad or just buy it maxed out to 16GB. Now for a trip to the edge of the earth where reality isn't... I have this laptop and wouldn't be surprised if you could just drop in a set of two 16GB DDR4-2133 SODIMMs and it'd work, though technically it's not supported and it might not work, meaning you'd have to return the memory for a refund if it didn't. I have upgraded machines in the past (Both Apple and HP) to more than the "officially supported limit" with no issues. Sometimes the upper limit on memory is a marketing decision, designed to push you into higher-priced hardware if you need more than the consumer-grade hardware provides, while the laptop itself will handle it fine. I'm just sayin'... If your buying decision hinges on 32GB, then no, it won't support more than 16GB.
