“Is the RED key board light nice? I feel like having a key board with a red light would start bothering my eyes after a while... I am a student and will use the laptop for hours at a time.... Thoughts?”

It looks nice. At the end, it all depends on your tastes Im fine with the red backlit keyboard. The only drwaback could be you cannot controll the intensity of the light as you can do on a macbook pro. It's ok for me at nights Im looking at the screen not so much at the keyboard.
